Corn thresher is a seasonal equipment that is usually used frequently during corn harvesting and is mostly idle. So, how should the corn thresher be stored after use?
(1) Open all windows, shields, and covers on the machine, carefully clean the dirt and dust inside and outside the machine, and pay special attention to cleaning the holes in the grid shaped concave plate and the dirt on the nail toothed roller.
(2) Carefully inspect all components of the thresher, and if any parts or components need to be replaced, they should be replaced promptly.
(3) All parts of the thresher that require lubrication should be lubricated once as required, and then the machinery should be idle for some time.
(4) Remove all drive belts and wipe them clean, apply fossil powder, tie them in bundles with labels, and store them properly.
(5) Apply rust proof oil to unpainted metal surfaces and areas subject to friction during work, such as adjusting bolts. Brush the paint off and repair it.
(6) Wash the exterior of the thresher with water, wait for it to dry, and then apply a small amount of lubricating oil with a cloth.
